Have you ever wondered, "Why has God placed me here? What is the reason for this suffering?"
Well I have...many times, usually while I am surrounded by so many blessings - but I am so caught up in my selfish desires, I fail to see the marvelous beauty of God's plan.
Sometimes He takes - to prune our life, for His purpose and design.
I realized this profoundly after my divorce and now see that it was all part of His design so I could become a Missionary for Christ, pilot and better mother.
God has postponed the January Malawi trip to June, but instead of feeling defeated, I am renewed knowing that He has a perfect plan in this. Perhaps someone needs to join the travel team that can only leave in June. Perhaps there is a woman that will be specifically placed there at that time that needs to be ministered to.
I will not try to understand God and place myself at His level, but I do know all things work out for the glory and perfect will of God.
Another opportunity came up to serve at the San Diego Rescue Mission, so my son and I will travel there in January. We are teaming up with the Hope Rescue Mission in Missoula to connect resources and see how we can help our community back home with their wisdom.
Excited to see the journey God takes us.
May you all have a blessed and joyful day!
God is so good. All the time!
We are thrilled to say prayers have been answered!
As I went in to meet a client for a possible video shoot I prayed, "God if you want me to travel to Africa in June 2020 please make it possible, I don't see a way."
Sometimes God moves quickly!
A generous donation to this mission came from that meeting and we are in discussions on ordering bibles to be sent to Malawi Othakarhaka Foundation.
Once they arrive, we will be sending over a curriculum that I will be developing with Journey church to start a bible study.
I am beyond ecstatic to see God working on this and thank all of you for your continued prayers!
